NeuroMeet exists because the workplace wasn't built for everyone.

Most workplace neurodiversity efforts start from a broken assumption: that the gap is one person's problem to fix. Sensitivity training tells neurotypical employees to be nicer. Accommodation checklists tell neurodivergent employees what to disclose. Neither one asks why the misunderstanding happens in the first place.

The double empathy problem answers that question, and it's the idea NeuroMeet is built on. Communication breakdowns between neurotypical and neurodivergent people aren't a deficit on one side — they're a two-way gap, created because neither side has context for how the other actually thinks, communicates, and works. Fix the context gap, and the "problem" mostly stops being a problem.

NeuroMeet is what that looks like in practice: a place to learn the research, connect with people working through the same gap from both sides, and use tools built specifically to close it — not paper over it with a training video nobody remembers by Friday. Everything here is free — the guides, the community, the tools. If it helps one person have a better week at work, it did its job.

NeuroMeet was founded by Jennifer Totten Richey — a senior partner ecosystem strategy professional with 25+ years in tech, a late-diagnosed and late-identified neurodivergent professional, and someone who's spent her career doing exactly what this platform is built to do: translating between two groups who each think the other one is the confusing one.
